Tempus Cross Book Launch Event

I am extremely excited to announce the upcoming book launch for my debut novel: Tempus Cross. This event will take place at The Porcelain Pig Art Bar & Studio in Twyford, Berkshire, https://www.theporcelainpig.co.uk/on the evening of Thursday, November 27th - 7:30pm. Along with invited guests, and, of course, some friends and family members, I am looking forward to welcoming some less familiar faces, local bookshop representatives and (with luck) a journalist from the local press. 

During the evening, I will be talking about the writing process that brought Tempus Cross to life, in particular how the many characters found their way into the story — each with their own tale to tell. Whilst I'm not a regular public speaker (aside from the odd work presentation and wedding speech over the years), I feel hugely confident about filling the time with lots of anecdotes and explanations as to how I structured the novel. This story isn't in the traditional beginning, middle and end format; I worked really hard to take the readers on a journey through the decades from the 1940's and into the new millennium by making sure we looked to the future, but also took an occasional glance backwards. The key, for me, was telling a tale lor describing an event from a character's perspective — and then returning to it further into the novel and spinning things around a little. I'm really looking forward to sharing the methods I used to achieve this throughout the book.
